  1. Remove the AC Adapter from the notebook and turn the system over on a flat stable surface.
  2. Locate the battery removal clips as shown in Figure 1. Figure 1

  1. Move the left clip to the Unlock position as shown in Figure 2. The Right clip is spring loaded to remain in the Locked position automatically. Figure 2

  1. Once the left clip is pushed to the Unlock position, push the right clip to the Unlock position and slide the battery out of the notebook.
  2. To put the battery back in to the system. Align the battery so that the sides (shown in Figure 3) slide into the notches on the battery compartment. (As Shown in Figure 4). Figure 3 Figure 4

  1. Push the battery in, and a click sound will be heard. Slide the left battery clip to the right to lock the battery back into place.
