What you should get in your accessory package

  • Bus Toaster SCSI II PCNCIA card
  • SCSI install diskette(1)
  • SCSI PCMCIA to SCSI II adapter
  • Cable for PCMCIA card to SCSI connector
  • Registration card
  • Quick start sheet
  • SCSI II User’s manual

Important:

Do not Install any disks if you are running Windows 95!

The diskettes included with your Bus Toaster are for DOS 6.xx and Windows 3.x

DOS/Windows 3.x:

DOS and Windows 3.x require Card services and Bus Toaster drivers. You will need to load Card Soft from the PCMCIA diskette you received with your WinBook if it is not already loaded. Load the Bus Toaster drivers from its install diskette by clicking on Run and typing a:\setup and then pressing Enter. Your Bus Toaster should be enabled now.

Windows 95 Install:

Boot into Windows 95 and when the system has booted to the desktop insert your Bus Toaster into your WinBook. A New hardware found message will come up followed by the message adding software. When Windows finishes you should hear two beeps telling you that your card is ready. The Bus Toaster should be ready now.
